Cante Alentejano is a UNESCO musical heritage in southern Portugal.In Alentejo there are 4 great voices that fuse the academic spirit of the University of Évora with traditional Alentejo singing (Alentejo Singing - UNESCO Heritage).The result is a unique and joy-filled show that appeals to the most demanding audience!

It was really remarkable to enjoy the musical devotion of ensemble´s main singer and pianist Mário Moita and his band Trovadores do Sul, in the 16th Kuressaare´s Chamber musicFestival. His interpretation of traditionalPortuguese songs was thrilling and romantic fado on the piano was performed with really intensive passion.
